LS1-350 or 346 cid ?

I say the LS1 is 346 cid. I have been called on this several times. Most folks say its a 350 cid. Even the CAC glossary defines the LS1 as 350 cid. My 00 owners manual states 346 cid. Why all the confusion?

I forget exactly to the decimal point, but you are correct in that it is closer to 346 ci.
