How many of you 2001 or 2002 coupe or convertible owners have verified that your car was built with the LS6 block instead of the LS1?
They say approximately 10 to 15% had them in 2001 and possibly 25% in 2002. Does anyone know if it's more likely to have one if your car is built late in the model year?
My 2002 was ordered May 1st and built June 1st, it is the 1,873 car from end of production. Had car up on a lift, but the exhaust manifold on drivers side is smack dab in the way of being able to view the casting number!
Does anyone have a later built 2002 and knows whether they have this block?
