LT and Reverse Flow?

I have a coolant flow question about LT motors. Does the lower Radiator hose go to the top passenger facing gooseneck and the upper go to the lower gooseneck facing the drivers side on the stock LT application? As many of you know I put this motor into a 75 Vette.

I seems to not have any coolant circulating into the block. On the stock 75 motor the lower radiator hose fed into the water pump and the thermostat emptied into the top of the radiator. With the LT-4, at this moment I have them reversed, as I just hoocked them up to the closest neck, which is reversed from the stock 75 motor. I think this is OK, but am looking for some reassurances.

i think you are correct on the hoses (from memory, without looking)

Big cooling problems on LT cars usually are a result from a wrong t-stat. Another common problem is air in the system, usually from improper filling.

It turned out to be Air. There was no fluid in the motor and the Thermostat wasnt opening duy to air inthe system. Used special tool and coolant is now flowing. I am just glad a mouse didnt live in the motor. I am finally mobile as the 75 LT-4 took its first ride on Tuesday. I am looking forward to putting the interior in and hopefully solving any problems well before we go to Bowling Green. Thanks for all your help.

Unfortunatlly I was not the one to drive it, but I will be tomorrow as I take it home. I will post back, my buddy was afraid to step into just yet, but it will happen soon.
