LT4 LT1 with LT4 Hotcam installed...avg. trap speed?

Didn't have an luck in the "Mods" forum (go figure...) so I'll try posting the question here....


Anyone know what the average 1/4 mile trap speed is for an 6-spd LT-1 Vette with the LT4 Hot cam kit? (assuming no other mods besides an open air filter box with K&N)?

You're just not having any luck at all, eh Dave? I don't know or I'd answer it for you. Maybe a "bump" is all this post needs.

I read in a mag where they did this. It was worth 22 hp by its self. They then went back and did some head work and got a total of 50+. Not bad for a weekend's work in the shop. robert

i'll take a wild guess and say in the 105 mph area. like Rob said you won't really see any gains till you do some head work.
