LT4 LT4 knock module (LT4 ESC) in LT1, who?

Who is using an LT4 knock module (not knock sensor) in their mostly stock LT1?

I am......no difference to the original one..........it will just allow more advance even if you run into slight ping and avoid reaction to false ping

i just got the knock module for a LT4 for my 96 LT1 - the guy I deal with at the local chevey dealer hipped me to it. he has a 95 camaro with the 5.7 liter . what it does he sdays is this. the knock module on the LT4 is less sensitive because the LT4 was a nosier engine. because of the crane item in the valve train.
by substituting the knock modules, your LT1 engine won't retard the ignition as much and you don't really get more hp, but you won't be losing it.
