LT4 LT4 Prices!!!

howdy all,
i was doing some research on some vettes and i came upon the LT4. Im very familier with this engine. I looked up prices on the KBB site and it says that a 96 LT4 only costs like $18000...thats freakin crazy...I thought they were more than that. Is it that the website is off in price or are they really this price?huummmmmm.....:confused. Thanks in advance. Laters

I have seen them locally with around 55-70 k miles for around $17k.

The market is soft right now. Why spend 26k on a 7yr old LT4 car when you
can get into a 99 hardtop for 27-28k? (and that's with 17k miles ). Buy if you can.

All things being equal, an LT4 will typically bring about $2,000.00 more in price than an LT1 car.

Interesting, isn't that about what it would cost to convert a LT-1 to a LT-4?

I got my blk 96 LT4 ~2 months ago for <$16K and it only had ~52K on it. The lady who had it prior was the orig. owner and had recently found a Z06.

My most recent experience with LT4 prices are:

CE LT4 Z51 coupe with 50k+ miles for $17k - club member bought recently.

I sold a CE LT4 Z51 coupe with 33k miles for $23k last July.

The LT4s are a huge bargain. Got mine for $18,500 with ~57K miles. John
