LT4 rods and LS1 rods

I bought a set to put in my motor.AnywaYS ANOTHER GUY DOWN THE ROAD IS TELLING ME THEY WILL NOT WORK IN LT4.They are both 5.7 rod lengths.Does anyone know for a fact one way or the other.:W
