My 96 LT4 has the low tire pressure warning system and stock sawblades with run-flats. I want to switch the tire over to some ZR-1 style wheels, but if I don't move the tire pressure sensors also, I'll get a warning on the dash (I think). Is there any way to disconnect the warning so I can just leave the pressure sensors in the sawbaldes?

I believe this topic has been discussed before on CAC. Use your search function and search the archives. I am certain there is a way to disconnect the light so it won't burn out. Good hunting.

John,
I have just dealt with the same situation. It is fairly easy to remove the bulb. The funny thing was that the light didn't come on for about 50 miles after installing new wheels and tires without the sensors.

P.S. There is nothing like a black soft top vette.:cool
