Can anyone tell me where the wires go when they leave the M/C solenoid on the carb? Do they go from the carb to the fuse box and then to the computer? I can't get my M/C solenoid to work and I have changed the computer, prom and O2 sensor.
If I run a set of jumpers from the battery right to the solenoid I can get the solenoid to operate when I touch ground, but not when its hooked up the way its supposed to be. I have been playing with this for two years now( on/off) but I just replaced my rear main seal and saw some dark score marks on my cam. I am thinking that since the solenoid is not working the car is running very rich and washing the oil off the inside of the engine. Well, thanks for any help.
