M20 muncie numbers - 65 vette

My 65 vette (327/350) muncie tranny has the following numbers: Main case 3851325, tail housing 3846429 and shift cover 3950306. Are these correct numbers?

Do your shift shafts use a stud or a bolt told hold on the levers? It sounds like you have a later side cover. THis was a common swap because the early stud-style shift shafts broke easily.

That tailhousing is from a '64 (driver's side speedo); 65's used a 3857584 tailhousing (pass. side speedo). The side cover is from a '69 - 65's used 3831707 (3/8"-16 threaded studs and nuts for shift lever attachment). 1325 main case is correct.
