While trying to take advantage of the 0% option, I am not finding new Corvettes with the F55 option in Texas, but saw that it is on the majority in Maine. Even Rick's list in MI only has it on a few.

How worthwhile is the feature?

I also want 6 speed tranny, without Z51, so it gets even harder to find the right car. Dealers are saying the special rates only apply to in stock or I would just order one.

Thanks,
Cal

At first I wanted the Z51 suspension on my 03 AE but the only way to get the AE is with MagnaRide. Okay. I love it. Unless you are going to be max-performing your car on a regular basis, the MagnaRide is the best.

As for few in Texas and lots in Maine, think about the roads. Texas has pretty good roads where the MagnaRide's smoothness would not be as noticable. Winter play heck with northern roads and would make the MagnaRide system shine more.

Take one for a test ride.

Thanks for the reply. How often do you use the more responsive setting in non race/autocross use?

If at all possible..I would recommend getting the magnaride option..

That technology is world beating active suspension imho...

I'd keep looking till you get what your looking for..

Never settle for less than what you want. IMHO you'll regret it and it sounds like this is an option you want.

Have fun on the hunt!

When spending $40k+ it would be nice to get what you want. With the 0% option, worth $4k on a five year loan, scheduled to end Feb 2, I can not order what I want and still get the zero interest savings.

Otherwise it would be a spiral gray six speed with F55 and no 12 disc CD or aluminium wheels. But all the dealers spec them with the polished wheels and I would rather spend the money on F55.

Hi Cal,
I prefer the firmer ride of the sport setting most of the time. My wife prefers the smoother tour mode. Then there are some roads where tour is the only way to go - the old style concrete slab freeways that still exist around OK and Ark. Tour smooths them out while sport makes them realy annoying.

We sold a 96 Z51 car to get the 03 AE with MagnaRide. Believe me there were many times when we wished the Z51 car had adjustable suspension. It's too bad I can't retro fit F55 on to my old 92 and replace the FX3 system.

I think if you check with all the dealers on the net..you should be able to get F55 in the time frame your looking for.

FWIW..I don't believe the pricing or financing choices will get worse with time. JMO but 2004 being the last year.

Get the car you want.

The F55 is world class. Better than a ferrari enzo. i'd be surprised if kerbeck or better yet Rick (a supporting vendor at this site) couldn't help you out.

As the C6 nears I bet the pricing on C5 gets even better or at the least stays like it is now. JMHO
