I've read and basicly understand how it works .
My question is can you really notice a big difference in actual ride ? Is it worth the money?

The difference is huge in ride compared to fixed valve shocks and you can feel it. Magnetic Selective Ride Control "Magnaride" or just "MR" reacts quicker and as a much wider band width than the old F45 "Real Time Damping".

Is it worth the money?

If having ride quality nicer than the base car when the system is set for "tour" but with handling approaching that of the Z51, when the system is set for "sport" is something you'd see as valuable, then it's worth the money.

It's worth it to me. I assume you are considering this as an option on a new Vette, because there's a bunch of electronics and sensors that go with it... not a upgrade you can probably do.

I bought an 08 (new ) and the car is coming with it.It's an option I would not have bought if I was doing a custom order. But sence i'll have I'm just wondering how people like it.

My first MagRide car was a 2003 AE - Loved it. Both my 06 and 08 have MagRide. Yea, I think it's worth it.

You will like having it. They used to ship those with a "stuffer" to keep the car from bouncing in shipping (no power = no shocks). I still to this day hear stories of people who hated their car and sold it... buyer found stuffers and got a deal. I don't think they do that any more, but if it rides hard and you can't tell the difference on a road that isn't smooth... time to look under the dust covers.

"Tour" is going to be a sweet ride TO the Dragon and "Sport" is going to be an even sweeter ride ON the Dragon, Steve! :Steer
Betcha can't wait!

BTW! Those stuffers are the reason Yoda snagged his '03... and the reason he initially didn't like it and thought he'd made a BIG mistake. Luckily he read about the stuffers here on the CAC and had it checked. Voila!

Yes ,as you remember I was on the line at BG.

Yes, I have a friend that will help drive the Florida run next fall and the car WILL get dragon tested.
