I just installed a Mallory Hyfire VI ignition this weekend, and I am very happy with the unit. It is really set up for nitrous cars and provides many different tuneable functions. Mallory does not provide a single connector coil harness adapter for 96 and later LT1s, but we adapted the MSD 8877 harness and it works flawlessly.
The install is very straight forward with a total of 8 wires, if you hook up the timing retard and window switch, and the digital controls of the unit are easy to navigate.
I mounted mine in the rear hatch right next to my nitrous bottle and ran all the wires under the carpets to the engine bay. I'll get pics posted soon (my rear hatch area is starting to look really tricked out now!)
Bob at www.advancedautocc.com was where I got the unit, and as always the service was the best. The weekend of April 22, I'm heading to Bradenton to see what all these mods have done so far, and I plan on racing in the Corvette Challenge that weekend.
