Very cool story. I know this guy. He lives in my home town of Danville IL. and his parents built and owned and opperated (as it was called back in the day) Burger Chef in Danville. I remember going there as a young boy and buying there $0.15 hamburgers, fries and a $0.10 cokes. there you go, a meal for less the $0.50. But as a kid I had to eat more then 1 hamburger so my meal was closer to $1.00
