Man Crashes Corvette on Highway 16; Attempts to Flee Scene of Accident

DENVER / LOWESVILLE, CO - Firefighters, Sheriff’s Deputies, a State Trooper and Lincoln EMS were called to an accident on highway 16 North on Saturday evening just after 7:00 p.m.
Eye witnesses saw a black Corvette speeding south on Highway 16 as the driver lost control and hit the guard rail that divides the south bound and north bound lanes.
Once the black Corvette struck the protective railing, the car continued through the grass and passed through the guard rail several hundred feet away from the initial point of impact.
