While referencing the mighty "101 Projects For Your Corvette/1984-1996", specifically Project 6 — Radiator Cleaning. I'm reading pgs. 26 & then 27, turned the pg. to start reading pg. 28 and THE REST OF THE TEXT IS MISSING!!!. AH MAN, WAS I TICKED! I mean, who proof-read
this publication? How does this happen? Also, what else is missing
thru-out this manual? Worst part is I don't remember where I purchased
it or how much I spent. So I can't ask questions. I'm curious though as to how many of you out there have this manual with the same problem. And if someone of you is fortunate enough to have the "rest of the story", would you be so kind as to post that pg. or pgs. on the forum.
I'd be very grateful. Actually, I shouldn't be alarmed, as I have been in the printing profession for 40 years and have seen ALL the blunders. Thanks guys.

I would recommend cleaning the area in front of the radiator. When I originally did mine, after many miles, there was crap half way up the radiator. My brother did his this year, when we replaced his radiator and it was the same. I would say, get a factory service manual for your car. Lots of things to do once you have that. Plus you have 1st class info on how to do it.

I was referring to what's missing in the manual.

I have the book and my page 28 is fine. It contains 3 pictures with captions.
I will scan the page at work tomorrow and e-mail it to you.
I purchased my copy at Barnes & Noble.

I understand you were. However I am not familiar with that publication, and this is why I didn't reference it in my post. I was merely offering an alternative for instructions on how to perform the necessary steps to clean in front of your radiator.

I have the three pixs/captions as well. But, when at the end of the text/info
on page 27, it appears that there should be more info relating to that particular subject being discussed. There is definitely a problem.

Its not a manual its a little book written years ago. The books seems to perpetuate the L98 torque monster/ LTX optispark melts in water legends.

I was given a new copy for Christmas years ago and I quickly learned it that the corvette projects were not really projects, and when I tried to repurpose the book it was even more useless......its glossy paper made lousy TP...

Best manual is the Helms Manual for your year.

I'd just order a new one from a bookstore online and return your old one. The bookstore will get the $ back from publisher.

You're right Donne . . . I just pulled mine off the shelf (I've actually used it quite a bit) turned to page 27 where it says "and it's not a bad idea to" . . . turn page and . . . ?

I assume it would mention replacing the hose. Newton is a member of CAC, maybe he'll see your post and reply!
