Manual T56 to Automatic Transmission

Good morning gentlemen. Is it possible to swap out the manual transmission in 2002 convertible to an AUTOMATIC 4L60E? I lost use of my left leg and found a great deal on a 2002 C5 convertible. Any swaps allready done? What did you do? Any fabrication needed? Thanks in advance......Anthony

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, I do know that they can swap transmissions, but it can be costly. Gry Ghst had a transmission swap from an Automatic to a paddle shift automatic by Ligenfelter, maybe he can give you his pennies worth. SC:WTT
