My 93 started seeping brake fluid when the master cylinder flanges to the power booster. Old experience would lead me to think the master cylinder (o-ring?) is about to go completely. Although my mechanical experience goes back 30 years I'm not familiar with this type of master cylinder at all. Since I'm not in any particular hurry, I thought I would research this before I ran out and bought a new one. My questions are;
1. Is this unit rebuildable, if so is it worth the effort and where can a kit be found? I've rebuilt plenty in the past but like I said above, I'm not the least bit familiar with this animal.
2. Any experince with bought rebuilds? I would welcome any recommendations about good rebuild distributors. Pricing experiences or guesstimates.
3. Recommendations for where to find OEM parts at a reasonable price. (online links, addresses, etc.)
Any help or advice, warnings or tricks for rebuilding and installation would be welcomed and appreciated.
