Matching Body Color License Plate

I ordered the Matching Body Color License Plate Bracket kit from GM for my 2006. But when it came in it did not have the adhesive on the 3 dimples that are on the back of it like the original one that came with the car. Does anyone know how to attach this w/out rivets or screwing into the body?

You can get the adheseive from the dealer..Dealers body shops as well as service depts have 3M double sided tape fro other things in stock...or Home Depot carries it....DONT drill into your front cover....

Has anyone tried this mount? I live in a two plate state and will have to figure something out. No way I will use the "factory" fugly plate holder!

Check out this one from Mid-America. It looks like the factory one but mounts form the underside so no body drilling. And it's removable. Why the factory couldn't come up with something like this I'll never know.:eyerole
