Question need to find out if tranny is original to car. A 1991 Vette looks to have been rebuilt casting#8663551 on tranny 8654732 on front pump service tag #1yhm2 serial #on tag 2127 65309 and stamped into tranny on driver side back 21 1829 0989 and 1k5124390 this last one I hope is not serial # to a k5 blazer? Thanks for any help going to replace converter and need to find out if it is a 27 or 30spline shaft. Do you just count the teeth on input shaft? Thanks Ethan ;help

Sorry Ethan, but I'm no expert on numbers, and my Vette is all "non-matchings numbers", so the NCRS hates me. :L

Hey no problem Iwent to a transmission shop and they told me how to count the splines.Also went to a Corvette shop and the told me "You will know after you order it and try to put it in if its the right one or not" No **** I said thats what Im trying not to go through. Any hoo Its a 30 spline.
