In need of the short curvy metal section of heater hose for my '81. This is the piece that starts just after the heater hose nipple on the water pump, goes in and around the A/C compressor. Started to wire brush mine and it began to become swiss cheese where the rubber hoses were on both ends.

Does someone have this part or do I just re-route using all rubber hose?

Thanks again,

It's easier to put new hoses on that are the right length to not use the metal piece. Mine was the same way, started to clean it and it flaked to pieces.

May have found a shop

I may have found a shop that can make the metal section of the heater hose..talked to him on the phone and he gave me the "no problem...bring it in" statement. Will take it to him later this week to find out if he can and how much.

If he can make it and its around $20 - $25 or so, is there anyone else whom would like one? Might even get a better price. Just let me know.

Update: Shop said Nope, cannot make. Guess I get to use heater hose.
