First off I would like to introduce myself; I am Michael Yager Jr. of Mid America Motorworks. In the last few weeks I have been working with Rob to help grow and promote both Corvette Action Center and Mid America. One of the things we will be doing is having group sales periodically throughout the year. So to start off I have put a group together with prices and information. Just read that Michael and Blake will be running a C5-R in ALM this year. Wow...I'm up for adoption; don't eat much (lie) have my own C5 with $$$$$$ of Mid America mods (lie - only $$). Anyway. Congrats to the boys and hope that have a successful and safe 2005 season.

Does your business ship to Canada? If so, how do you handle (or suggest Canadians handle) brokerage? UPS and other shipping companies have tremendously expensive brokerage fees.

Yes we do ship to Canada just call in Ben in our International department and he can help you out with any of your shipping questions. Tammy, to answer your questions we will only be doing specials via CAC not through the website. Any questions feel free to email or call.

Welcome aboard Mike!!! Glad to have you here at CAC. I used to get all my parts from Mid-America 20yrs ago when I had my first vette. Now that I'll be getting another vette very soon, I'm coming back to you guys for my stuff. Never had a problem with your company then and I'm sure it only has gotten better!!!

Mike, welcome to CAC! I live up the road in Bloomington, Il., and have bought many Corvette products from Mid America over the years. I plan to buy more this winter while my '96 in in winter storage. I hope to get down to Effingham this Fall for the Funfest. Great to have you aboard!

I don't want to throw stones at Mid America, but Corvette America ships using the postal service. There is no $35 brokerage fee like the couriers charge/rip us off for. I don't know how Mid America ships, postal or courier.

The parcel comes with a value declaration sticker on it, our gummint charges the GST/PST accordingly without opening the parcel, we pay it at the post office. And to top it off, if the part's value is under $20, (a small switch), they don't even charge us the GST/PST!!!!
