Daniel at Northwest did a great job the first time on my interior, but he said someday he wanted to do an "all leather" interior with the "proper blue".

After many months in search of a leather supplier who would custom dye a small quantity of electron blue leather, the results are in.

This is a truly international project, given an American car, Canadian shop, Romainian craftsmen (Daniel and crew), American leather (EB) and Italian leather (black).

I did the electrical work for the seat heaters. While the car was apart, I also had a chance to relocate the Garmin GPS into the dash and to shorten the Ripper shifter.

Thanks to Northwest for another great job and to Steven (one of the Northwest owners) for providing these photos.

That is one sexy b1tch! How tough is it to relocate the Heater/AC controls? I saw one other C5 with a LCD screen and a relocated Heater/AC control. It is a much better use of space. I don't smoke and if I did I wouldn't use the ash tray. It'd just flick my butts at Mustangs and Porsches. (Just kidding).;LOL

Not too difficult as it turns out. The HVAC unit only has a flat wiring harness attached to it. You remove the ash tray, bend back the support brackets inside, dremel out and file flat the console opening to accept the HVAC and drill new mounting holes. A fairly easy mod if you want to install a large screen audio unit.

Thanks for the info. It looks great. Awesome job!

Very yummmmmmy!

Nice leather work! :cool

Lew said it best: that is outstanding, Jacob! Very well done! And I'd like to someday borrow your ideas of adding a GPS and heated seats (when the funds are more amenable). I like where those heated seat controls ended up- that part of the center console is kind of empty on my Z06.

That really looks good! I have an '03 Z06 that is EB with the Mod Red interior, which is pretty unique, but that is really good looking.

About the heated seats. Can you tell me more about them? Where did you get them, how did you install them, etc.?

I'm all over that!

Jacob,
Can we get the address and phone number for Daniel @ Northwest......that is a great mod, one that would make my wife happy!

Car looks awesome!

Very Well Done!
