I sure want to do the Monza fuel filler conversion. You may be the person who has the page covering that. I just sent you an email to this effect. If you are, would you be willing to make one of those adaptors that makes the thing sit right. Let me know, I am about to drop my fuel tank and now is the time. Thanks

Rod,
Contact Pete D'Oliva or Dave Herlinger at Corvette Repair in Mt. View, CA at 650-969-5351.
Pete has developed a CNC program to produce the adapter rings for the cap. He made one for my '69, a photo of the car showing the cap is here:

The aluminium alloy adapter is setup to use countersunk stainless steel hardware to attach it, so it looks great and won't rust.
Note that there is a small depression molded into the 'glass deck where you put your finger to flip up the stock door. That depression looks a bit awkward with the cap installed. It requires filling and painting work if you want to eliminate the depression.
My cap setup is currently just eye candy, as I have an ATL fuel cell in the car which has it's own filler cap on the fuel fill pipe. The plumbing required to make the trick cap work is certainly do-able, but it is a pia that I'm not up to working on now.
CYa!
