2002 Torch Red Coupe
Happy new year to everyone at the CAC. I need some opinions on a move I am about to make from C-4 to C-5. I have been looking for a C-5 for several months and I think I found a winner today. I am trading my Torch Red 96 automatic coupe on a 2002 Red coupe with only 2900 miles on the clock. The price of the C-5 is $29,995 and I think I will be getting around $14,000 for my 96 which is loaded and has 65,000 on the clock. I think I am getting a great car for a really good price. The Carfax is clean and the one owner traded it in on a new Bentley. The car is spotless and the mileage is really unreal for a three year old car. Any input from anyone out there would be appreciated. I think the delivery date of the car was 6/02 so I should have factory warranty until that time this year. What a way to start the new year. If all goes well, I will pull the trigger tomorrow. Thanks

RJ

It sounds to me like you have found a winner....but be sure to check all the rubber items like belts, tires, weatherstripping etc....other then that it sounds like the car maybe a keeper...

Sounds like a no brainer, best of luck with the new car,Youll love it.

I always say, buy a car from some rich guy who never used it.

Someday, someone will be buying his Bentley in a great deal.;)

Sounds good. I am looking myself and am considering 1999 thru 2003. Miles and overall condition are my top priority. If you really like it, go for it.

Good luck.

Dino

Awesome! Check with your Chevy dealer for a car history report. If it is straight, buy it and enjoy it.

I say go for it. There is so much more refinement with the C5's. I wouldn't mind moving into a later C4 or even a C5 myself. At least that's what my plan is for later this year, something more current than my L98. I'm going to get something 96 or later for emissions purposes.

Sounds like a great buy and a no brainer.

DO IT FAST. Before someone else spot's that deal.

GO.

-Bill.;)

ENJOY THE RIDE.

Better jump on it! Great price and unreal trade-in value this time of year. You won't believe the difference in the C4 and C5...
