MP3 Hook Up on a 97

Can anyway give me any ideas for the best/easiest way to hoop up a MP3 player to the stereo system - realizing that these are likely two completely seperate issues (best vs. easiest). Thanks!

AUX 10 from PIE; as long as your factory head unit has the word "BOSE" on it.

AUX10 unit

It appears that the AUX 10 is only for trunk mounted units, which I don't have. Will this also work on a standard Bose in-dash unit? Appreciate the website!

Give them a call, I believe there is a way to do it. I've also heard that even w/o the 12 disc unit installed, the wiring harness may have been included on the head unit. I'm not sure where the easiest place would be to verify it though.

:)

The Answer

I contacted the company (PIE) and they wrote me back the following (below). I'm gonna order parts and give it a shot

___________

We do have parts that will work for your 97corvette. These are the part
numbers
1-Part # COR-HAR
1-Part # GM10-AUX

The COR-HAR is the cable that will allow you to use the aux because your
vehicle is not prewired. You will
be plugging it into the 3-pin and 4-pin connectors under the carpet of the
passenger seat foot panel.
And the GM10-AUX is the aux input for your audio sources which uses
RCA's in

Thanks,
If you have anymore questions, feel free to email me at frankg@pie.net

Great! Let us know how it all works out and how you installed everything. Take a few pics and post here when done.
