Some time back last year I had put completely new Painless wiring harness in my 62. About 700 miles later, it started to lose spark at any given time. It drove myself, my wiring expert, Vig, and a few other very helpful people crazy. I finally figured out the coil MUST be mounted vertically when oil filled. Without going into too much detail , I sent my MSD 6AL box back to MSD even though it checked out OK with the tests the tech's told me to do. The box was over a year out of warranty and when they bench tested it, they found nothing wrong, because as I said above, the problem was with the coil. Even so, they put a new diode or two, retested it and sent it back to me ABSOLUTELY FREE. Tonight as I was eating dinner, I got a phone call from MSD in Texas asking me how everything was running and was I happy with the way they handled my problem. They also said if I had any future problems with it not to hesitate to call them.

With all the troubles I see in here and around home with people having so many problems with products, shipping, customer service etc. I have to say MSD has got my business and a great recommendation.

HATS OFF TO MSD!!!!!!!!!:upthumbs

Im a MSD fan also! Great service, Great product, Great performance gain bang for the buck, and Great fuel mileage increase.

Probably one of the best mods performed on my car.

Thanks for the heads up on MSD. It's always nice to know about a company that goes out of their way to satisfy their customers.

I have a hidden MSD With 6al ingnition in my 1966 427/425 car and it has worked flaw less since its installation.

Unfortunatley I will be removing it to go back to the original TI system (for originality)
