My 2006 C6 Convertible will not start

My 2006 C6 will not start:
- All OK when it went into the garage a week ago
- Tried to start it today and the battery was totally dead
- Had to open door using release in trunk
- Would not respond to a jump start

I know that I need a new battery. But I would expect to be able to jump start the car. Is something else besides the battery a problem?

Looks like I will need to have it towed to the dealership for repairs.

OEM batteries were never the best at what they do. I have replaced many with in the first 12 months. Why just 2 weeks ago I replaced the battery in wifes car and it was 12 months old. Covered under warranty.

Happened to my 05 C6 twice. I think i read a post on this site that they figured out the drain.

if the battery is dead flat a jump may not work:ugh unless you have monster jumper cables .you need a lot of amps going through those cables to work and not he best thing to let your alt charge a dead battery,hnoes just asking for problems with the charging system. get a float charger for storage and a regular 10 amp charger for dead battery issues not a lot of money to have them on hand for maintenance and emergencies. only my 2 cents Steve
