My Baby's 40th Birthday is Tomorrow!

Yep, tomorrow is my Vette's 40th birthday (build date December 20, 1968)!

It seems just like yesterday I was changing her soiled air cleaner for the first time (sniff sniff)! :cry

Hey Thanks for all the replies everybody...

It was actually pretty much anticlimactic - it's been too cold here in MD; plus she's been naked lately... not even in primer. YIKES!

I plan to have her a fresh new look this spring... Torch Red.

I just painted my 73 Torch Red. Man! that is a beautiful color!!!!

I went to see her at the paint shop on Tuesday. They finished the final coat of clear on Friday, and had been color sanding and buffing her for 2 days. She looked amazing! I can't wait to get her home.

I bought her a new flannel car cover for Christmas.
