Worn down tires will steer harder, slicks even more.

:)

I don't think so, run flats have stiff sidewall & hard rubber, should turn easy.

Has the PS fluid ever been changed?

Maybe the PS pump is getting tired, how many miles on it?

119,000, barely broken in! But that bears checking into. Maybe the speed sensitive part of it is afoul.
Those tires sure ride rough, even with Bilsteins.

I test drove a pack of C5's when I bought one as a surprise for a bud coming home or "back to the world" after his 4'th tour. He has been on so many I forget where.

Houston, you got a problem.

Get the thing fixed. I just sold my car due to medical issues but steering was not one of them.

I bought an aluminum low profile jack that would get under the Vette, and some jack pucks. Raised it up to check the wheel bearings - they are perfect and likely recently replaced. Shocks are good Bilsteins. I can't find any looseness anywhere. I'm beginning to suspect that my steering peculiarities are due to an autocross alignment with little no toe-in. I'll get an alignment done when the new tires are due.
