Catbert, here in the office this AM,just looking through first post, saw your quote thought I would let you know what I found on your suggestion.I did call Stone Co.and they sent me to West Branson DMV,that's where the buyer would have to go to register.Talked to a superviser about the method to my madness, was told they could not give out personal info,so close, just keep getting the door slammed. The closest law inforcement is in Kimberlig City,MO,where the car was sold,I did talk to them when I first started this, they sent me to the local convenience store there in Lampie and talk to Bob,he knows everyone, well guess what Mr Bob passed away in June.Door slam again. So I think I will call Kimberling police again and see if they would know anyone else.FROSTRATION LEVEL MACH 2.So what do you think.
Ask the police department for the names of a couple retired cops who were around at the time. Retirees have no problem with the privacy laws that bind cops these days. Sometimes they have fun trying to help, and actually do a little snooping on their own for you. I have seen this work on a number of occasions.
