I havn't had the stock 90 ZR-1 rims on my car since I bought it 4 years ago. I am so used to seeing it with the tripple dipped 5 spokes on it, its weird to see it with the stock rims on. My car lost some if its character. And I just realized how bald my rear tires were getting yesterday. Time for Poilts

lol. I don't really consider the rims a mod. They don't really do anything fer performance, but they sure make the car look a hell of a lot better. They should have been stock

My car came with the 5-stars but I wish I had the originals just for the track

Actually, they do. If the wheels are lighter - less unsprung weight. If the wheels are designed with small spokes, like those of the '94-'95 ZR-1 or those used on the C5, more brake area is exposed than with the original '90 wheels used, so more brake cooling during higher performance. ;)
