Well, the engine, drivetrain and front suspension are rebuilt.

It was a very short trip into the garage, but under its own power for the first time in 2 months. I still suspect a problem with reverse so I didn't want to push things. Tranny was stuck in reverse preventing me from rotating the yoke and attaching the driveshaft. :mad

It's still hard to me to believe that I built an engine from scratch then dissasembled an entire drivetrain and put it all back together. Now that's a first for me.

Next I have to bleed all the calipers and maybe try out that reverse gear and see if I get stuck. :ack:

Well done, Len. Imagine what you could do if you weren't on sick leave? ;)
I think it's more like, "Imagine how much longer it would have taken if I weren't on sick leave." :D

With all the problems I've had since the engine was in, I'm guessing it would have taken me at least another year to get to this point. Working as I have, on & off on some weekends as time allows.

Bad news though, I'm cleared to go back to work October 25,2004. :mad

Very Nice!

Looks like the fun is just about to start!

Congrats on getting her back together len. It's still one of my favorite Sharks.
