and to answer your question with out knowing your Density Altitude (DA) but knowing your at 5200 feet in altitude and on a 5200 DA for you it *could* be upto 6 tenths in the 1/4 mile. your 5200 DA weather would be about 50-55F degrees 50% humidity with 45 degree dewpoint. for every 1000 in DA is 1 tenth or 10 rwhp on 12 second or slower cars.

so if the weather when you ran was hot and sticky you *could* run 6+ tenths quicker at sea level depending on time of year and weather. sometimes we get to run in -1600 or greater DA in the late fall and early spring.

Sorry it took so long to answer but I was a little busy trying to make my vette a little faster!!! :L

Mic: I've seen some of your videos and your vette really sounds like it has a non stock cam (and it runs FAST too for the 2.59:1) You have done a very good tune up job in it all these time, it really shows the experience you have! (I know you had the best teacher)

thanks for the kind compliments! i've just put my knowledge from old school tuning and the extensive CFI tuning from my 82 Z/28 and just played with it to see where the car pulls hardest. timing was a big thing. not every car likes alot of timing as mine. i hear run between -2 to 14+ advanced. i run about 12 degrees advanced. playing with tire pressure. cut back plugs and playing with plug gaps. one thing i do keep up on is changing the plugs and checking the wires, cap, and rotor. keeping up on those things really help. little things add up i'm living proof of it
