The Indiana Regional is only 2 days away. I need to get my camera batteries charged up. I have to put the battery in the 1981 too. It hasn't been driven yet this year.

I'll be judging in the 1958 to 1960 class. Can't wait.

There's a great turnout of cars at the event. Nine in the '58-60 class alone and that means a long day for me tomorrow. I usually hope to see a car without a radio if possible as that was the way mine was built. Usually there isn't one. Out of the nine 58-60 cars on the judging field only 2 have radios. I have to get an early start tomorrow so I won't be posting pictures until tomorrow night. I have some short videos too.

Here are some rare C3s

Here we have the first ZR1 built. It is actually the pilot car. It was a 1970 LT1 with the heavy duty racing brake and suspension package.Then we have a 1971 ZR2 which was the big block version. It used the aluminum head LS6 454 cube, 425 horse engine with the heavy duty racing brake and suspension package. Then we finish with two shots of the last ZR1 built in 1972.

Even though the building was large, it's the main auction arena at the Auctions America Auction Park in Auburn IN, Thursday got a little strong inside. With the cars moving in and some of the operation checks being done inside there was a lot of exhaust smell. Here are some of the cars being ops checked and others awaiting their turn. This area would also become the Sportsman display area.

Auctions America was getting ready for the Auburn Spring Auction while we were there. That will be May 5th to 7th. I think they are talking about 1000 cars to sell. it should be a good time and a chance to see cars you normally don't get to see first hand.

This Crown Sapphire 1959 was a real stand out due to it's color. You also don't see an Almond Beige 1962 very often.
