Need a third brakelight fitting for a 2004

I have a third brakelight socket fitting on my 2004 convertible that has gone bad. Have power going in, it just isnt lighting even after a new bulb. Any one have a possible source for one?

Chevrolet Parts Department,It's the same socket on several different models, Probly have it in stock........... At least mine will here locally!

Went there, no parts number, so contacted them by e mail they said the same thing discontinued. Guess my mechanic had it right after all. Now anyone know any good junk yard sources for corvette parts?
