need help 350 sb oil behind flexplate !!!

Hi, just about to put the tranny back in and I noticed there is a oil leak coming from behind the flex plate. There are 3 bolt holes, and they are seem to go through into the block. I did not remove any plugs from these holes (im pretty sure) The top plug is behind the flexplate and I know I didn't remove it because there is no access to it. What are the three holes, above where the crank connects to the flex plate.

There are no bolts up there, but there's a large pressed-in plug that closes off the rear cam bearing, and three small allen-head threaded plugs that close off the main and lifter oil galleries. Those are the only possible sources of oil leakage in that area.

The rear main seal could be a source of oil seepage/leakage. In fact, that's the most likely source.

I take it the engine is still in the car? Other possible sources are: the back side of the intake manifold, the oil pressure sending unit, or rocker arm covers leaking at the rear. If either has been seeping/leaking for long, it "could" make it's way between the transmission housing and the rear of block then continue to travel downward. It would then appear to come from behind the flex plate area. Just giving you food for thought on where the other possible sources are.

Went out and got three plugs. I must have removed them when the crank was out.
