After doing some research I am considering buying the cross member x brace that R&D Racing makes but I haven't had any luck contacting them. I called the phone number they had on their website and it was either disconnected or no longer in service. I then tried the e-mail address they had listed and it was not recognized. Does anyone out there know how I can get in contact with this business? If you do and you would let me know I would appreciate it!:w

Their number, which was a cellphone, has been disconected, and they give no physical address. sounds like they may be historical.:confused

Makes you wonder

To be unable to contact them certainly makes you wonder if they are history. Thanks for your response catbert:w

Nope

As I stated in my original post I was trying to contact this business for the purpose of possibly purchasing the frame cross brace they had been advertising. I have no idea where you came up with the idea that there was some kind of warranty issue.;LOL;LOL;LOL;LOL;LOL

Because so many people get suckered into buying the "hot" item of the day from some place they've never heard of and it always ends the same way....when you need some help or their junk part failed because it was marketed without testing, they're outta here ! ..and all the folks that spent their money are left hanging.

The Corvette aftermarket industry is so overpopulated with scammers and wanna be performance guys that everyone gets screwed eventually. I've seen places that take someone elses product, stick their own lable on it and resell it with bigger better performance claims...and make money and run.:beer

Good to ask around

That's why I take the time to read these threads and do a little research before I plunk my money down for the latest and greatest. From what I read though everyone who bought the cross brace seemed to be happy with it. Then you never know if treads are left by someone promoting their own product either. It almost sounds like you may be one of those who got burned on someone's "latest and greatest". I hope not but there are a lot of clever people out there who spend their time figuring out how to swindle someone. Caveat emptor.:w

lol...
When I moved from ventura ca a few yrs ago, I filled a dumpster with aftermarket JUNK that was marketed in magazines, online and in some stores. I bet 75% of those companies are no longer around.

I just read about someone that took a stock X brace off a convertable and added a bar that made it super stiff and now he has something that actually works. With a little re-engineering it'll be redesigned to allow for driveshaft removal and other maint while retaining the frame reinforcement.

After having bought and seen so much 'stuff' from aftermarket companies that are dead and gone, I try to get folks to take a real good look at what they're buying and who they're buying from...
Even so called "reputable" companies rush junk to market and allow the public to do the R&D....
Renegade intake comes to mind.

Around here, you won't find to many threads that have inaccurate support for a product. The great majority of people who contribute do so for the greater good. Although there are a few that have a heavy opinon and no fact, those however are easy to see through. :upthumbs
