Need Help

When you're looking at the module with the pins at the 6 oclock position is that the pink and black wire? The replacement modules dont have any markings on them to tell which is terminal A B C D or E.

The wire colors for my '87 are:
  • "A" = blank
    [*] "B" = --- 439 PNK/BLK --- (IP Connection) --- (ECM/IGN) --- Ignition
    [*] "B" = --- ^(IP Connection) --- 439 PNK/BLK --- A6 --- (ECM) Ignition
  • "C" = 485 BLK --- B7 --- (ECM) ESC Signal
  • "D" = 486 BRN --- Engine Ground
  • "E" = 496 WHT --- Knock Sensor

Hope it helps you. :upthumbs

OK, Thanks gents, thats what I needed to know, the wiring is backward not to mention a little sideways from an 82.An 82 has a plug marked A thru K,with A being a shield,B is the blue,F is pink and black,J is black and K is the brown ground wire. The rest are not used. So now I shouldn"t do in my ECM (knock on wood) when I hook up this little mess of mine.
