My next project will be to remove and inspect both power sport seats in my 1990 coupe (various things don't work on both). I'd like a wiring diagram for the various motors and switches before I begin, and my Haymes manual doesn't cover them. I have searched the forum and the Knowldege Base but didn't find any. Does anyone have a scanned page (or pages) that have this information? Thanks, Tim

Can´t help you with wiring but it´s rather simpel to follow the cabels from the motor to the conectors (there are 2) Djust take the seat out and you will solve the problem. I´v done it myself thinking if the girls in Mexico can so can i.

Well, I do plan to take the seats out and see what's what, but in looking under the driver's seat (maybe I shouldn't have!!!) I see lots of splices and electrical tape, and most wires are the same color (I assume it was a "patch-job" some time ago). Also, while the driver's side will move in all directions imaginable, there is a fairly long pair of wires (both orange, so it's a patch-job too) that aren't connected to anything. Thus, that's kinda why I wanted some real wiring diagrams, just in case I needed to start from scratch.

This is for an 88 it should be the same

Note
The left seat is shown... on the right

the yellow orange is now a yel/grn

the yellow green is a yellow white

Hope this helps

Vigman,

Thanks for the scan...that will help me out! Tim

Actually OOPS

Your switches are different mechanically.. but the seat track should be the same ( wire's & functions )

And your welcome... I have a 93 shop manual.. I'll look tonight and scan.

Vig!
