Ran my new best sunday at Capitol Raceway. weather was around mid 60's with 500+ DA. track was hooking like a mofo and didn't spin in 4 runs!

1st run was hot just got there:
13.314 @ 105.33 1.901 60'

2nd run water temp 140.
RT: .604
60' 1.853
330: 5.541
1/8: 8.431
MPH: 84.30
1000: 11.007
1/4: 13.192
MPH: 105.74

3rd run i got hot lapped staged at 200 water temp and ran:
13.356 @ 104.84 1.893 60'

4th run water temp 160
RT: .574
60' 1.858
330: 5.457
1/8: 8.440
MPH: 82.95
1000: 11.013
1/4: 13.187
MPH: 105.84

all in all i know what the car will run cooled down and hot. get me some good DA like i had when i ran the 13.26 which was -1500 DA and sunday was 500+ DA at 60+ degrees and i'd have a strong 12 pass. was hoping to pull a sub 1.80 60' time since my best 60' was last year with a 1.815.

DR's and a 3000 Vig that i got my eyes on will do the trick along with the crank pulley, AIR pump elim kit, MAT relocation should put me mid 12's i would think easily.

then i'll throw the other motor in with the LT1 intake and ZZ409 cam with 1.6 RR's and some work on the stock heads for now with a 150 shot and let'er rip :D

will post Timeslips and vids soon!

Thanks Colin!
seems like the TPiS ZZ409 cam is a direct drop in just got to check the piston to valve clearance with 1.6 roller rockers. will find out soon cause i am thinking about dropping the cam in with 1.6 RR's and the LT1 intake you sold me but don't worry i will dyno the car with direct swap of the intakes first to get a good idea what the LT1 intake did against the stock TPI intake!

Density Altitude. lower the better. it's like running in the DA that you would actually be running in so if your at 5000ft and get a DA of 7000ft it's like running at 7000ft not 5000ft

i use this calculator to check it before i leave the track and can predict it from just knowing and feeling what the weather is doing. i rub my palms with my fingers walking around the track to feel for sweat sometimes. if i'm sweating in the palm the weather is getting worse with alot more humidity. no sweat and very dry and the temp is dropping is good air ;) whoops telling you guys all my tricks.....lol thats how i dial in brackets also cause i know what the car will do at certain water temp and DA ect...

use http://weather.com to pull the info to add into the calculator. you just need to know the altitude at the track your running at.

I guess since I'm running a 100 ft. I don't have to worry about that? Anyway, if you beat me to the 11's I'm gonna be ****ed :L See my post in general. You got a great setup planned, exactly what I was thinking of, the ZZ409 should kill with that intake :upthumbs

thanks Colin but i'm sure you will beat me there cause you got way better head setup! hell 500 bucks and a 150 shot would put me there now :P

Great Mic!

For those ETs now I'm sure you're just about to reach the 12s the way you always wanted. Almost stock!

:w (Post dyno numbers as soon as you get them!!!)
