Yikes, that's expensive, although I guess it is stainless. Does APC still make the grill mesh with little interconnecting bowties? I never saw very many applications of that, but the mesh was cool.

The C6 Grille kit has approximately a 70% open area, which is a larger open area than 99% of factory production and aftermarket grilles on other vehicles.



The C4, C5 and C6 grille kits are all designed with the most % of efficient airflow, open area, vs. non-open area. The C4, C5 and C6 grilles are positioned in such away to minimize air deflection. Extensive testing has proven that performance is not effected. In fact at high speeds, when the cool air hits the stainless steel, it actually cools the metal, which in turns further cools the air (slightly) as it enters the rad area.



However the true nature of the C6 grille kit is to stop 90% of all road type objects from impacting and destroying your rad.



The cost of the C6 Grille is a small price to pay vs. the cost of replacing the C6 rad + the labor.
