I don't think it is an attractive looking car from the photo included with the article. To me, it does not rival the Corvette at all. Jiust my opinion.

I have Corvettes and a CTS V (Wagon) and they truly are apples and oranges - different buyers and for different reasons.
Media types like to hype stuff like this but one does not detract from the other.

The guy that sold me my C6 drove a XLR and claimed it was similar to a Vette - but more in tune with the "over 60 crowd" - his comment not mine. Heavier than a vette, a nice car to drive to the country club … still, not a Vette
