Tadge has been assistant vehicle chief engineer for the Corvette since 2001. He played a key role in the successful development and launch of the C6 Corvette and Z06. Tadge was also instrumental in the Z06 being recognized as the only vehicle program to win the Chairman’s Honors Award.

Tadge had a few things to say to the employees at Bowling Green Assembly:

“Being named chief engineer is a huge honor for me and a responsibility I take very seriously. I have really enjoyed working with all the folks in Bowling Green. I consider myself a true partner with everyone in the plant, and I look forward to continuing that partnership. I feel like I am a member of the team at Bowling Green, and that’s not going to change. Tom Wallace and I will be working very hard to keep Corvette moving forward at great speed.”

From another thread, back in May.....

That off-again/on-again super-Corvette is definitely on, according to General Motors performance cars chief Tom Wallace.

Wallace, who replaced recently retired Corvette chief engineer Dave Hill......

Duntov....McLellan....Hill....Wallace....Juechter.

So, if Wallace replaced recently retired Dave Hill, and now Tadge Juechter is the new chief engineer, was there a shake-up or was this a planned move? :confused

What do you mean? I'm curious and uninformed... LoL...

Side Note: always thought it would be cool to work on the assembly line at the plant.. but how would you go about applying ect?

First you get a union job at a GM plant where they don't make Corvettes. Then you wait years and years on a waiting list for the honor of being transferred to the Corvette plant. At least that's what I've heard;).

Glad to see your presence. One suggestion, if I may. Please assign someone from your organization to monitor this and other enthusiast forums. You will garner a wealth of PR information in so doing.
