New frame brace for C4s available soon

On my way to Funfest last week I stopped to visit one of the Corvette businesses that I deal with and found out they will soon release a new frame brace for sale. This will replace the X brace for convertibles so you can get to the undercarriage without having to remove it first.
It will stiffen up the coupes too.
No price or release date yet so I was told not to divulge the name of the supplier just yet.
The designer is well known in the industry. They hope to have it ready for sale before 2010
I will post more info when I find it out.

I "x-ed" my 96 coupe with factory convertible components and the result was good, but I really scrape it quite a bit going over certain ground imperfections. Gotta be REAL careful.

This is not an X brace and I am told scraping will not be a problem with lowered cars.
