Hi folks. I'm about to buy my first vette. That might not be a big deal for most but I'm hard core into Mopar. It's a 90 vert in NC. High miler but lots of upgrades including a motor/transmission rebuild 2 yrs ago. The price is right, hope this works out, it's a big step for me.

Welcome to CAC!!!
enjoy and Good Luck with the vette!!!!!

Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement. I honestly have a great deal of respect for anybody who wrenches on his own car, what ever the brand. I'm just most familiar with Mopar and know what to look for and look out for. I'm learning about C4s though and have discovered that I have a 1yr car. Old bumper style body, new style interior. Most of the expensive upgrades have been done to my car. I need to fix the tilt wheel. A common problem as I understand it. I'll replace the switch when I do. The PO had bought one, it's in my glove box. Mostly, the car needs a good cleaning and detailing. Right now, it's 20 deg outside and snowing so I'll wait on good weather and keep researching 1990 problem areas and their fix. Best to ya, Tony

Keep us posted on your progress :thumb
