New GrandSport Striping

Does anyone know where to go to get the new Concept Corvette Full Length Striping Kit?
It was on the Carlisle Blue Vette at the 2011 Show.
None of the Corvette Dealers seem to be able to track it down.

Who owned the Carlisle Blue vett you mentioned?
You might try contacting some of our vendors... if they don't have it, they may be able to steer you in the right direction.

Last fall, I traded emails with John Fitzpatrick about that stripe "kit". He said on 16 November...

The white body length stripes will be available through our Dealer Accessory parts group in the next few weeks and will be installed at the dealership. It is a decal or scothcal applique.

That white stripe looks killer on a Carlisle Blue car!

For the Z06ers out there, I'm told the difference between PN 22800490/22800491/22800492 and 22783853/22783854/22783855 is that the first three fit Z06es with B92 and the second three fit Z06es w/o B92.

Also, my understanding that the white is actually a "pearlescent" white and the black is a metallic.

What model years would this stripe kit be applicable to?

Great question, Rob.

You've have to analyze the applications according to model year.

For example the stripe kit for the regular Z06 probably fits 06-12 but the kit for the Z06 with B92 will only fit the model years what RPO was available which I think are 10-12.

Unfortunately, GM didn't give me any info in that matrix as to backdating from 2012.

I'll see what I can find out.

I emailed with Jerry Parsell, again, on the stripe kits. Parsell, the Product Manager for Chevrolet Accessories, says the stripe kits will backdate, with in specific models, to the beginning of the C6 platform, which, of course, would be 2005.

The base coupe stripe kit (PN 22783845, -846 and -847) will fit all base C6 coupes, 05-12.
The base convertible kit (PN 22783849 and -850) will fit 05-12 base convertibles. (for reasons unknown, the base convertible stripe kit is only available in two colors.
The Z06 kit (PN 22800490, -491 and -492) will fit all Z06es w the B92 hood.
The ZR1 kit (PN 22783861, -862 and -863) will fit all ZR-1s .
The Z06/Grand Sport coupe kits (PN 22783853, -854 and -855) will fit all GS coupes and Z06 coupes w/o B92.
The GS convertible kits (PN 22783857, -858 and -859) will fit all GS convertibles.

Black Metallic: 22783845, 22783849, 22800490, 22783861, 22783853, 22783857
Pearl White: 22783846, 22783850, 22800491, 22783862, 22783854, 22783858
Calicove Blue: 22783847, 22800492, 22783863, 22783855, 22783859

My stripes are here, and will be applying them in a couple of weeks with a friend who does graphics for a living. I figure I would have less problems with a pro helping me out...we shall see...lol
