I just lowered the rear 0f my c5-it evens it out-stogies looks like it has air shocks on the rear!maybe someone had big tires on it at one time, some are high from the factory. i did not mess with the front bolts,it already scrapes the air damn on everything.Jack up your vette and turn the spring bolts out till there is a couple of threads showing on the top side -your done!It really looks better,I really don't care for slammed to the ground.:upthumbs

congrats on the c5,I sold my beloved c-3 this past Fall for my 00 c5 and do not regret it one bit.
I nearly bought a nice 01 in Pewter, but it was a automatic with 60k on it. But a very nice vert.

Welcome to the fold Ken

Your car

Stogie,

Welcome to the club. You found a beautiful car with a classy color.
You will be spoiled by the C5 ride and performance that's for sure.

Enjoy your ride.

Keep 'em rollin'.:W

Welcome from WV!

:w Welcome to the forum and the C5 world. I own a '99 as well (torch red)...mine has a few more miles on her though. Love the car! Finally getting decent enough weather here to get her out once in awhile again.

I got mine last summer. Going to be replacing my stock wheels (17 & 18) with some Grand Sport Reproduction wheels (18x9.5 and 19x10). They finally starting making them with the 56 offset for the C5. Going with gloss black...still trying to decide on the treads. Borla exhaust after that. Time to start personalizing the ride!

ernestD - thanks, I dropped the rear to match up with the front - SWEEEEET - then I filled the curb at the end of my driveway with concrete to eliminate the SERIOUS rubbing I had going - we'll see how long the city lets me get away with that - :) - thanks again for the info - D.

Welcome to the cac..............................:):)billy
