Hello, just got registered. Great forum!!
I have a 95 yellow 6 speed convertible. My question is this, are there production figure #'s for color, body & trans??
Specifically I would love to kow how many yellow 6 speed converts were made in 95. I have not been able to find this anywhere.
Any help/advice is appreciated!!
Thanks Brian

The 1953-2003 Corvette Black Book, gives stats only for individual rpo's.
There were 1006 yellow cars, 4971 converts, and 4784 6-speeds made in 1995.
It doesn't give a number for any specific combination. I know this doesn't give you the exact answer you are looking for but I hope it helps.

Thanks for your response! I have a black book also, that book is what got me wondering about this. I would love to know out of the 1,003 yellows, how many were conv & 6 sp.
Thanks again.
BTW the 1006 figure is the admiral blue prod #

Yellow95,

That is a beautiful Comp. Yellow vert, congratulations -- I’m green with envy!

Did you buy from a dealer or private owner?

Reason I ask is that I am looking for a six-speed 95 vert in either Competition Yellow with grey interior or Bright Aqua Metallic with white top and tan interior.

Do you recall seeing any of the above in the Central Ohio area? I have checked Bob McDormans Chevrolet, Buds Chevrolet in St. Marys, and Mershons in Springfield... no luck.

There are plenty in Florida but I want to buy local so I can inspect the car.

Thank you for any input.

B17Crew, thanks for the reply. I purchased the car from a private individual. My brother located it, auto trader online. The dealers you mentioned have alot of cars but I prefer to buy from other enthusiest. it seems if you look long enough you end up with a better car or less mileage for the same or less $$$$. I have never seen a comp yellow w/ grey interior. That one may be hard to find! My wife & I went to the 50'th last year & the only other comp yellow we ran into was a LT4 w/ tan top & interior. Neat car but it was "well used" with high miles.
I am possibly considering putting mine up for sale. If you would like to see it let me know. I live in the Dayton area. The car has black sport seats, electric air, bose tape/cd, 6 speed, brand new tires(the originals were still on ot when I bought it) & 25,600 miles.

Tims93,
Thank you for posting the 96 vert that you found on the Ebay auction. I took a look at it, the vert did look really nice! The car can claim media status as well.

I know I’m looking for a needle in a haystack, but I’m holding out for a 6-speed, Comp. Yellow with the grey interior. So far, I’ve ever only come across one, it was available at Rogers in Florida.

The only clincher was that it was a auto. :cry

Thanks again for the link.

Yellow95,
Thank you for the reply, I think that your 95 is awesome looking! I have had great difficulty finding the combo I have been searching for. They are few and far between.

At this time, I’m going see if a Comp Yellow/Grey interior vert turns up. I think that if I am unable to locate one this spring/summer, I’m going to have to open-up to a beige or black interior.

Do you have a time frame on when you are considering selling your 95?

b17crew, Thanks for the compliment. I have not advertised it yet but am considering it within the next month or so. I would probably list it here as well as locally. Good luck with your search, keep me in mind & have fun.

b17crew,That one at Rodgers is awesome. The link shows that it is sold, do you know what they wanted for it?
P.S. Hold out for the 6 speed!!

Yellow95,
You are welcome for the compliments. You are fortunate in that when you do go to sell your 95, it will more than likely be snapped up right away as spring is here and Competition Yellow has always been a desirable color... and... you have the six-speed. Very nice combo.

I can’t remember what the yellow/grey vert at Rodgers went for. I would think that it would have been in the high 20s range due to low mileage (8,000 miles) and it being yellow.

If you post your vert here on the CAC in the C4 Corvettes For Sale/ Wanted section, I’ll be sure to see it!

Take Care,
