This site is so very valuable and I appreciate everyone who has already provided some helpful information. I've only been a member for a few days. I have a 64 Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe (purchased new by my aunt in California) and just recently sold a 57 Chevy. I was planning to by another 57 then decided to hold off with the economy . . . and then I starting looking at older corvettes. I NEVER thought I would own one and after a month or so looking we found one in the condition and at a price we couldn't pass up. What an unbelievably great car to drive, so much fun. I'm hooked! Again, I really appreciate the help I have already received from members of the CAC. Invaluable! I just need to check into how to get a photo of mine uploaded; a 1979 Midnight Blue Coupe. Dave

Our CruiseFest 2007 was held in Colorado Springs, and at the same hotel was a Fairlane Meet the same week. Great representative of most the mfr. years were present and they were looking good too :dance
